Performance evaluations, depending on how well they are written, generally list description of your major responsibilities, a breakdown of invidivual tasks, and highlights of your accomplishments. You should always keep a folder at home of performance evaluations from every job you have ever held. If you haven't kept them until now, pleas start.

Now, make copies of these performance evaluations so you can highlight them as you write your resume. Use a different colored pen to highlight accomplishments-the things you did above and beyond the call of duty.

Also make copies of the job descriptions you discovered and mark the sentences that describe anything that you have done in your past or present jobs. These job descriptions are important sources of keywords, so pay particular attention to nouns and phrases that you can incorporate into your own resume.
